After decades in nonprofit leadership — and sailing purely as a hobby — I've finally switched over to pursuing sailing full-time.

I grew up sailing with my dad and then skippering our boat with friends in the Baltic. For the past 10 years I've sailed and raced extensively in the Bay Area, and done deliveries across the Med, up and down (and twice across) the North Atlantic, and through the Caribbean. Locally, I’ve crewed on USA 76 and am instructing at Spinnaker Sailing in Redwood City. "On the side," I've also just bought a boat and been accepted into the High Latitude Challenge.

• Advanced First Aid / CPR-AED for Mariners
• Marine Diesel 101, Boat Electrics 101
• USCG OUPV (Offshore Merchant Mariner / Captain's License)
