Day 15
Last day (hopefully). Uneventful night, which is great when you have a dodgy rudder, and your skipper decided to challenge the Gods and put away the Go bag… winds are supposed to weaken today so our hopes of getting in in time to clear immigration and customs before they close so that we can jet off to our super expensive hotel (Mark) are dashed, as is probably my hope that we’ll get in while daylight and be able to go straight to our dock tonight so we don’t need to move it tomorrow morning… Otherwise good! Very much looking forward to seeing Kira and Joe in Grenada and catch up and relive memories from the last crossing - they are working there this season. Order of business when we arrive: throw lines to Kira🤞, tie up boat, hook up to power, drink champagne, take out garbage, shower, eat, party, sleep!
