Day 6

Coffee gate, as Mark aptly named it. We don’t have enough coffee if we keep going as we have. For anyone who knows me, you realize what a disaster this is. I wonder if the USCG would airdrop coffee if I issued a May Day? Otherwise we’re back to too little wind. Sails flapping shafed through a dynema sheet so we had to change them. And the hydrogenerator picks up all seaweed in the Atlantic, so regularly we have to furl in the sails to slow the boat down while James climbs down back fighting waves sharks sea monsters and seaweed with one hand, holding on for dear life with the other, so that we can continue generating power. Tomorrow strong wi de are supposedly coming in, which address lots of issues, most importantly shortening the time the coffee needs to last…Ps my dad let me know what happened in 1616 (see yesterday’s post): Shakespeare died! On his birthday even!
