Fishing pots!
Perfect cruising day today, with 12 knots on the beam and no seas. And perfect temperature. Only thing to keep it from being too perfect was a million (at least) fishing pots. Reminded of ski racing! Now we are just trying to figure out when to head out across the Atlantic. Orcas still an issue. And James needs a proper port to check out passport wise. And most importantly: we need ok weather. There is a strong southerly wind along the coast of Portugal. But wind isn’t the big concern. Learning from my last sail down here: swell is. And according to my weather app is BAD, all days expect departure Thursday, where it’s only lower case bad. At least according to predict wind’s departure planning rolling, vertical acceleration and slamming forecast. But.. Jane’s is not seeing the same in his weather app.. so we are discussing. Perfect timing to include his t-shirt that he is wearing today and that he wrote and designed himself! 🤣
